The cottage accommodates up to 4 guests + 1 infant and offers you an ideal location to explore the idyllic villages and breathtaking coastlines that North Norfolk has to offer.

For your everyday needs we have The General Store which is well-stocked with all of the essentials you could need from fresh & locally sourced produce to unique antique items and homewares. Also located within the store is The Café.
Another attraction within walking distance from Flock Cottage is the Ringstead Downs which is a stunning nature reserve perfect for peaceful walks and wildlife spotting. As one of Norfolk’s rare dry chalk valleys it is home to diverse flora and fauna, making it a must-visit for nature lovers.
The village of Ringstead, Hunstanton also has direct access to the Peddars Way walking route making it the perfect self catering cottage for those planning a North Norfolk rambling or walking holiday. We accommodate birders and twitchers too who are wanting to visit North Norfolk for its spectacular bird life, we are just a 10 minute drive from RSPB Titchwell Marsh and 15 minutes from RSPB Snettisham.
Small families who visit us for a family friendly getaway will appreciate the play park which is convieniently situated behind the cottage and reached by a short lane at the end of our cottage row. This large green space with play equipment is perfect for children wanting to let off some steam.
St. Andrews Church stands proudly behind the cottage which means not only do we have wonderful views from the windows, but were also perfectly placed for any wedding guests too!

We are just 2.8 miles from the picturesque Old Hunstanton Beach, known for its expansive sandy shores, and striking cliffs. It's perfect for a leisurely day by the sea whether you're interested in beach combing, golfing, or enjoying some water sports.
Pootle onwards from here and you will venture through costal villages like Holme-Next-The-Sea,Thornham, Titchwell, Brancaster.
For a charming village experience, Burnham Market is just 8.2 miles away. This delightful market town is filled with boutique shops, gourmet eateries, and quaint tea rooms. It's a wonderful place to explore and immerse yourself in the local culture.

Flock Cottage
Flock Cottage accommodates up to 4 guests across its two charming rooms. Offering a spacious king size bedroom and a snug double room. It is the perfect retreat for couples seeking a romantic getaway, a small group of friends looking to get out and experience what Norfolk has to offer, or alternatively it offers small families a welcoming and practical base for coastal adventures. We are able to provide a travel cot 0-36M and a high chair for those travelling with a little one. If you would like to make use of them during your visit, please let us know this at the time of booking. We also welcome up to 2 well behaved pooches!

Upon entering Flock Cottage you will be greeted by a cosy open-plan living and dining area. The log burner and feather filled cushions invite you to take a seat on the sofa and our ultra fast fibre broadband tempts you with all of your favourite tv shows via Sky Stream.
A small farmhouse dining table tucked into the corner of the room is the perfect nook for home cooked meals, and family game time.

On from the main living space you will find a well-stocked kitchen with a small bistro table, alongside an inviting window seat. Our appliances include a SMEG kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, smart dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, and all the other essentials for effortless self catering.
Off of the kitchen is a small utility room complete with toilet, sink and washing machine. A practical room, perfect for drying off those muddy paws!

The Goose Wing
As you reach the top of the traditionally narrow and steep Norfolk winder you will want to settle into our spacious king bedroom, inspired by marshland and the awe-inspiring spectacle of geese which flock to the nearby coast from Autumn through Winter. Flocks can often be seen and heard flying over the cottage during these months.
The plush king-sized bed, dressed in luxurious linens, offers the perfect roost for a restful night.

The Swallows Nest
Along the corridor and down the slope you will find our cosy double bedroom. Drift into a restful night’s sleep in the charming swallow-themed bedroom, where the spirit of the surrounding meadows comes to life. This room was inspired by the surrounding wildflower meadows, grasslands and unspoilt countryside which surrounds the village and provides a haven for birdlife.
The snug double bed, dressed in crisp cottons, memory foam mattress and plush pillows, promises comfort and warmth, inviting you to unwind after a day of adventures.

Upstairs at the end of the corridor you will find our quaint and characterful bathroom, which spoils you with a beautiful view of the church spire from the window. Hiding behind the soft green panelled wall is a waterfall shower fixed over the bath tub.
